The weekend of August 1st and 2nd, Ty Tessmann attended the 3rd round of the Alberta RC Pro Series held in Edmonton, Alberta. This was the third and final leg of the series, which would determine the provincial champions. Ty competed in both 1/8 expert buggy and 1/8 expert truggy and managed to TQ both classes. In truggy Ty got a good start and pulled away from the field and took the win at the end of the 30 minute main. In buggy rain started to fall just before the main began, making the track slick at the start and as the rain stopped the traction came back. Ty was able to pull away from the field again, taking the win in buggy as well. These TQ's and wins solidified the Alberta provincial championships for the Canadian RC Pro Series for Ty, Hotbodies, and AKA.
