Team Losi's Mike Truhe had his pick of the litter with what Truggy Tires to run on his Team Losi EIGHT-T at last weekends Sidewinder Nitro Explosion. That decision however was made pretty easy during practice after Gil Losi Jr. had Mike try a set of AKA's Truggy Gridions in the all new SUPER SOFV V compound. Mike was instantly a few tenths of a second a lap quckier than he was with what he was running before trying the Super Soft Gridions.

Qualifying saw Mr. Truhe take the TQ honors rather easily  with more than 6 seconds of a cushion per run.

At the sound of the A main tone Mike jumped out to an early lead and settled in after the first few laps to eventually pull away from the field. At the 30 minute mark of the 45 minute long main, Mike found himself right behind and ready to lap the 2nd and 3rd place batle. Mike eventually got by the 3rd place lapper and was about to lap second as the tone went off and he cruised home on a victory lap.

After the race we asked Mike what he thought of the AKA Truggy Gridion in the new SUPER SOFT V compound and he said. "They felt more locked in by far and at the same time were more nimble".
